Major breakthrough in wireless power supply technology!


Recently, the research team of Chongqing Intelligent Engineering Vocational College and Huawei (Yongchuan) joint technology innovation center, located in Yongchuan, Chongqing, successfully developed a radiation free long-distance wireless power supply transmitter chip. Based on the strong coupling resonance mechanism of the magnetic field, the chip successfully realizes radiation free, long-distance wireless power transmission. It can take power freely within 1.5 meters under low-power load, and the charging efficiency can reach more than 80%.

On May 17, Qian Yonggang, a teacher from Chongqing Intelligent Engineering Vocational College, showed off the control chip for the transmitter of long-distance wireless power supply without radiation developed by the school's scientific research team.

It is understood that after the first generation of experimental prototype design of the radiation free long-distance wireless power supply transmitter control chip is completed, the prototype developed has many problems to be solved, such as large volume, high energy consumption, low efficiency, small transmission distance and so on. With the cooperation and support of Huawei technical experts, the members of the scientific research team of the university successfully designed the wireless power transmission integrated circuit cqai-0512a, with built-in RF transmission circuit and 8-bit CMOS MCU. The chip supports ask debugging mode. It has the advantages of high integration, automatic frequency locking, automatic load detection, automatic power regulation, low power consumption, low cost and high power, and solves many problems at the transmitter.


Radio energy transmission technology can get rid of the shackles of traditional wires, improve the freedom of power supply, and bring about a revolution in product convenience. Therefore, it is considered to be one of the most anticipated technologies in the 21st century.
